Our children are grouped developmentally. In other words, chronological age in early childhood has little to do with placement of your child and appropriate program. We work within your child's district cut-off requirement where your child is most comfortable while here. Who your child is happy playing with and what your child can and wants to do is most important.
We provide a self-contained room that assues the child will achieve both socially and in program, even though it is not the most economical set-up for All-Day. Further, our staff knows where your child is, and how we can be most helful since every room has a register. Responsibility for your child is assigned.
Every room has its own bathroom. Notice the low-cut walls. Privacy is assured for the child, but staff supervision is also possible. We don't have hall wanderers because there is no reason for your child to leave the center unless accompanied by staff. Oh, by the way, our toilets grow with the child!
The playground is important. Infants/toddlers have their own space, but are not all out there at the same time. Preschool also has their own playground space, with equipment that is safe, challenging and suitable. They have assigned periods of time to avoid too many children playing at the same time. Please note the playground surfaces. The infant section is rubber tile; the main playground is ground-up tires.
When Kid Fit time rolls around, we have room for soccer and other athletic activities in a fenced-in space beyond the regular playground. In summer, we use the space for pools and outside activities. We are fenced in to the building.
Our country setting is safe and perfect for little children. It is still possible to see geese flying overhead, and hear our farming neighbor cutting hay.
